Welcome to Allen Renaissance

Allen Renaissance (ARI) is a non-profit, community-development organization organized in 1999 to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency, to provide relief and affordable housing to the underprivileged, and to advocate for the advancement of quality education for all children.

The Hilltop community in Tacoma has been economically underserved for years and continues to fight decades of reputation that the area is still plagued by gang and drug activity despite a steadily declining crime rate. Allen Renaissance is focused on the restoration, redevelopment, and preservation of healthy communities. Revitalizing this community through social and economic change is essential to accomplishing our goals. ARI is promoting a sustainable, healthy, and affordable community in the Hilltop that will address issues surrounding housing, retail, youth advocacy, and prosperity in what is historically an economically and socially underserved, underrepresented area.

Allen Renaissance has five major programs
for community restoration:

Urban Development (Allen Place)

Intel Computer Clubhouse

Renaissance Life Center

Sisters of Vision Mentoring and Leadership Academy

Renaissance House
